A motorcyclist was injured and taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Monday following a traffic collision in the southbound lanes of Highway 14 at Via Princessa.
The crash happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. according to motorists phoning the California Highway Patrol.
The commuters reported a motorcyclist down, blocking the lane next to the fast lane and the lane next to that one – what the California Highway Patrol refers to as lanes 2 and 3.
Paramedics were dispatched at 6:34 a.m., Inspector Joey Marron of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
The traffic collision involved the motorcycle and a gray Toyota Corolla, according to the CHP.
