The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will hold a graduation ceremony for four canines and their handlers on November 10, 2016, at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento.
This is the first canine graduation in 2016 for canines trained in criminal apprehension and explosives detection.
The four canines and their handlers completed 15 weeks of intensive training at the CHP Academy. The CHP officers represent four different geographical regions, statewide.
