A solo vehicle crash involving an overturned trailer caused delays on the 14 freeway Monday afternoon.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a vehicle pulling a trailer overturned on the northbound 14 freeway just south of Newhall Avenue at 12:36 p.m.
Witnesses reported that three lanes of the freeway were blocked while the crash was investigated and cleared.

Both the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the crash
The two occupants of the vehicle were not injured during the collision and were released by authorities on the scene, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Traffic backed up on the northbound 14 freeway to the 5 freeway interchange as a result of the incident.
