A pregnant woman was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital after a minor crash on Cherry Willow Drive and Winter Pine Way in Canyon Country, a Los Angeles County Fire official said.
Though injuries to the woman were very minor, emergency crews transported her to the hospital “because she was pregnant, we wanted her to be evaluated,” Fire Captain William Edwards said.
The woman’s SUV crashed into a parked truck shortly after 2:30 p.m.
