At least one person has been injured in a shooting that occurred on the 18200 block of Sandy Drive in Canyon Country on Sunday.
Two suspects were involved in the shooting and they were last seen on foot on Sandy Drive. No one is in custody as of 5:49 p.m. on Sunday.
“We’re still trying to develop leads and follow up on that,” said Lt. Ignacio Somoano with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
The incident was reported at 11:49 a.m.
The injured person was shot in the arm while he was an occupant of a full sized pick up truck. The truck was also shot.
“The only weapon involved to our knowledge was a shotgun,” said Somoano.
The incident occurred within the vicinity of Park Sierra Apartments.
