Boys and Girls Club hosts pinewood derby races

For at least 20 years, The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has been having pinewood derby races and Monday saw a continuation of the tradition.

Some 50 kids came out to cheer on the racers in Newhall with their hand-built pinewood derby cars.

Two age brackets competed: 7 to 9 years old and 10 and up.
