Three longtime community members joined the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation Board of Directors this week.

Don Kimball, the community president of FivePoint; Robert Stern, a certified public accountant with Stern, Kory, Sreden and Morgan; and Dr. Tracy “Bud” Lawrence, the hospital’s director of emergency services, were selected to replace three retiring members.

“Please join me in extending a warm welcome to our newest members: Don Kimball, community president at FivePoint, Tracy Lawrence, MD, director of Emergency Services, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and  Robert Stern, CPA, Stern, Kory, Morgan & Sreden,” said Marlee Lauffer, president of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation.

Kimball has been part of the management team of Newhall Ranch for nearly 30 years and is the immediate past chairman of the board of directors for the hospital. Stern specializes in retirement planning, financial services, tax strategies and tax preparation. Lawrence started with the hospital in 2003 as an attending emergency medicine physician and is the owner of Henry Mayo Urgent Care Center.

The trio replaces Robert Benjamin, Dr. David Henry and Ron Morgan. Benjamin will continue to serve on the hospital board.

“We are so grateful for the years of leadership our retiring foundation board members Bob Benjamin, David Henry and Ron Morgan have provided the hospital and foundation,” Lauffer said. “We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
