Deputies are looking for a man and a woman who allegedly stole a blender and then used the kitchen device to hit a store employee on the head with it when confronted.

The two robbery suspects fled without the blender and are now sought by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies.

The confrontation happened shortly after 3 p.m. Monday when a man allegedly stole a blender from the Target store on Magic Mountain Parkway at McBean Parkway, Sgt. Dennis Duarte told The Signal.

“The blender was used as a weapon when a store security person tried to stop it,” he said.

The man got into a dark colored Acadia SUV driven by a woman and fled the scene.
