Three weeks ago my family and I were privileged to have Jason Gibbs spend 90 minutes in our living room explaining his vision for Santa Clarita. I was immediately impressed with his keen intelligence and familiarity with the many issues facing our city and began following him on Facebook. He seems to be everywhere. He recently volunteered and did the heavy labor of mixing cement to build homes for our local vets. In addition, Jason has helped to raise funds for children with cancer, the WiSH Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club and Carousel Ranch, and participated in the annual Santa Clara River cleanup. In my 38 years in the Santa Clarita Valley I can never remember a sitting City Council member or candidate for City Council who has demonstrated so much passion and community involvement to improve the quality of life for all of our residents.

Our City Council needs new blood and fresh ideas. As a former board member for the local American Red Cross, veteran and retired police officer, Jason Gibbs is my first choice for City Council.
