Another traffic stop near Gorman, another out-of-town couple busted on suspicion of burglary.

On Wednesday, about noon, a deputy with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station checked out a “suspicious vehicle,” Shirley Miller, spokeswoman for the SCV Sheriff’s Station said.

“A deputy patrolling saw suspicious vehicle, found out the occupants were staying at Gorman motel,” she said.

After making contact with the couple, the deputy learned they were from Hilmar, about 10 miles south of Turlock, and that they were wanted on burglary warrants out of Turlock, Miller said.

“Both of the individuals were arrested on warrants in Gorman yesterday,” she said.

The couple was then taken to the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

The man, described by the arresting deputy as a website developer, the woman, was described as 28 and unemployed.

The law enforcement agency in Turlock was expected to extradite the couple.
