Members of the 2018 Holiday Home Tour League donated the proceeds from the annual home tour to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation President Marlee Lauffer this month during the group’s fashion show and membership luncheon.
The all-volunteer support group has hosted the holiday home tour annually for 39 years, and this year’s $33,000 in proceeds will go toward to the hospital’s upcoming Center for Women and Newborns, which will feature nearly 30 added beds, two dedicated cesarean section operating rooms and much more.
The Home Tour, which is held the first week of every December, has raised upwards of $1 million dollars throughout the years, according to foundation officials.
Local residents are invited to join the organization as a volunteer or homeowner who will offer their home for the tour.
