A suspect accused of stealing items from a store in the mall was pursued Monday afternoon by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies.
The call came in at 4 p.m. after a male suspect was said to have taken items from a store and fled on foot away from the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
Deputies had established a presence in the shopping center parking lot located on Del Monte Drive and McBean Parkway.
