iLEAD Schools, the parent company for Santa Clarita Valley International School, recently purchased the Crossroads Plaza in Castaic where the school is located.

The plaza, located at 28060 Hasley Canyon Road, was purchased from BLX for $17.3 million, according to the real estate firm that handled the deal.

SCVi, a public charter school that specializes in project-based learning for grades TK-12, was iLEAD’s founding school and has been located at the property since it opened in 2008.

The financing for the center is expected to include additional funding for improvements to the existing facilities, according to iLEAD founder Amber Raskin.
