A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital after a crash on the northbound side of Interstate 5 just north of Valencia Boulevard on Friday, according to Josh Greengard, spokesman for the California Highway Patrol.
Greengard said the rider suffered “major injuries,” but they were “non-life-threatening.” The motorcycle appeared to be the only one involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is unknown, at the time of this publication.
The No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the northbound I-5 were blocked for a short duration for medical treatment and cleanup.
