Los Angeles County Public Works and Sanitation Districts hosted a free household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection event on Saturday morning at Val Verde Park, where residents were given the opportunity to safely dispose of their waste. Copious amounts of old paint buckets and bulky televisions filled the disposal stations, while county workers helped residents unload their cars.
