Los Angeles Police Department officers were involved in a law enforcement operation at the Bridgeport Marketplace in Valencia on Friday afternoon, according to Sgt. Juan Muralles, spokesman for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Information on why LAPD officers were staging at the Bridgeport Marketplace was not available at the time of this story’s publication.
Muralles said the situation was an “ongoing handle.”
The LAPD Media Relations Division could not immediately provide information on the operation.
