Ron Perry | We Need a Day for This?

The following is a copy of a letter sent to Rep. George Whitesides, D-Agua Dulce.

I’m trying to understand why the citizens are paying millions of dollars in taxes only to find out you all are spending your time on issues like House Concurrent Resolution 78, “Expressing support for the recognition of March 10, 2026, as ‘Abortion Provider Appreciation Day.’”

The last action was March 12, when the resolution was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary.

This sounds like a major waste of time and resources for several reasons:

1. Why in the name of all that is reasonable do we need a day to celebrate those who provide abortions?

2. What does the Committee on Energy and Commerce have to do with abortion?

3. If you vote yes on this resolution, you are not representing the majority of the people in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The one thing good thing this resolution does is to remind all citizens jut how much time and money our representatives waste.

So my message to you is, stop it!

(Democrats) are celebrating killing babies on one hand and at the same time arguing against killing drug dealers on the ocean and terrorists in Iran. Are you kidding me?
