Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were dispatched to report of a man who was experiencing a mental health crisis in a shopping center Thursday in Saugus.
The call went out around 5 p.m., and the area was near the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on Seco Canyon Road and Bouquet Canyon Road.
About four sheriff’s patrol cars surrounded the parking lot.
A deputy on the scene said the man was experiencing a mental health crisis and yelling a bunch of things to a wall and did not harm anymore.
The surrounding businesses just wanted him to go away, the deputy said.
