A small bush fire that ignited in a dirt area between The Cube and a neighboring facility was quickly extinguished Saturday morning.
L.A. County Fire Department firefighters were called to the scene at 11:19 a.m. for a bush fire outside The Cube that hadn’t spread to any nearby buildings, said Fire Department spokesperson Pauline McGee, and arrived at 11:27 a.m.
Firefighters were hosing the narrow dirt bank between The Cube and with water a few minutes later.
No one was injured, McGee said, and the call was cleared a few minutes after noon. Firefighters’ reports from the call didn’t specify whether the cause of the fire had been determined.
