Stepico is heading to Las Vegas this week as the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) brings together gaming companies, technology providers, developers, operators, and other industry professionals from around the world. The 2026 event runs from September 28 to October 1 at The Venetian Expo.

Stepico CEO Andrii Titov is attending G2E representing both Stepico Games and Inkration, the company’s iGaming-focused art and co-development studio. The visit comes as Stepico continues working across game production, art, co-development, and interactive technology for external partners.

Stepico Brings Its Development Experience to Las Vegas

G2E is primarily associated with the regulated gaming and casino sector, making it a somewhat different setting from traditional video game conferences. For Game development company, Stepico’s presence in Las Vegas also reflects how its production expertise has expanded across different areas of interactive entertainment.

There is a clear connection to the event. Titov noted ahead of G2E that iGaming has become one of the company’s core verticals, with its teams providing art, animation, and development support to studios and suppliers.

That makes G2E a useful meeting point for a company whose work now crosses several parts of interactive production rather than staying within conventional mobile or PC game development.

The event itself reflects that mix. G2E expects more than 25,000 gaming professionals and over 400 exhibitors from more than 120 countries, regions, and territories. According to the organizers, suppliers, vendors, and game developers account for roughly a quarter of its industry audience.

A US Trip Built Around Industry Meetings

Las Vegas is not the only stop on Stepico’s current US schedule.

Ahead of G2E, the company announced that Titov would be meeting game development studios, publishers, and technology partners across Austin and San Francisco before continuing to Las Vegas.

The schedule puts direct industry meetings at the center of the trip rather than treating the conference simply as an opportunity to attend presentations and walk the expo floor.

Titov described a similar goal for G2E itself: meeting in person with industry contacts he had previously communicated with online while also making new connections in the casino and slot development sector.

For outsourcing and co-development companies, these relationships can be particularly important. External development is rarely limited to delivering a predefined collection of assets or code. Longer projects can involve technical integration, changing production requirements, art pipelines, QA, communication between teams, and continued work after release.

Co-Development Has Become Part of Modern Game Production

External production teams are no longer used only when a studio lacks enough developers to complete a project.

Co-development can cover individual systems, art production, animation, engineering, content creation, porting, live operations, or entire sections of a game. The exact model depends on the internal capabilities of the studio and the stage of production.

This has created a different relationship between game companies and external development partners.

A publisher may already have its own engineering and art departments but bring in another team to increase production capacity. A smaller studio might need specialists for technology it does not use internally. Other developers use external teams to handle specific production areas while their core staff concentrate on gameplay or product direction.

The result is a market where technical compatibility and production processes matter alongside cost.

G2E Is Becoming More Technology-Focused

The scope of G2E also extends well beyond traditional casino hardware.

The 2026 program covers iGaming, artificial intelligence, payments, cybersecurity, digital transformation, regulation, responsible gaming, and other technologies used across modern gaming businesses.

A dedicated Business Solutions & Tech Zone includes discussions around automation, AI implementation, security, and enterprise technology. The wider event also brings together online casino and sportsbook operators alongside suppliers and game developers.

That environment creates overlap between areas that once operated more independently.

Modern iGaming products rely on many of the same disciplines found elsewhere in game development: 2D and 3D art, animation, user interface design, real-time graphics, backend systems, testing, analytics, and ongoing content production.

For companies already working across several of these areas, the distinction between traditional game development and adjacent interactive sectors is becoming less rigid.

Stepico’s iGaming Direction

Stepico originally built much of its reputation around conventional game production, including mobile development and game art. Its presence at G2E reflects a broader production scope.

Inkration focuses specifically on art and co-development for iGaming projects, while Stepico continues working across wider game development and interactive production.

Keeping those areas connected can be useful from a production standpoint. Skills developed for entertainment games, particularly animation, technical art, UI, real-time development, and scalable content pipelines, can transfer to other types of interactive products.

At the same time, iGaming brings its own requirements. Development teams have to work within platform specifications, regulatory environments, established mathematical systems, and production cycles that differ from conventional PC, console, or mobile games.

G2E gives companies working in that space an opportunity to discuss those requirements directly with operators, suppliers, technology companies, and other development teams.

What Stepico Is Looking for at G2E 2026

Stepico has framed the trip primarily around partnerships and conversations rather than a specific product announcement.

That makes the timing notable. The company is arriving in Las Vegas after meetings with other US game industry businesses and with an established iGaming development operation already in place through Inkration.

For Titov, the immediate objective appears straightforward: turn existing online industry relationships into face-to-face conversations and establish new contacts with companies producing slot and casino content.

G2E provides a concentrated setting for exactly that kind of business development.

With thousands of industry professionals arriving in Las Vegas this week, Stepico’s participation places the company in a part of the games market where external development, art production, and technology partnerships increasingly intersect.
