Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

“Stop the Bleed’ is a national initiative designed to provide bystanders with the tools and knowledge they can use to stop life-threatening bleeding.

AFTER THE TRAINING, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
•Explain the rationale for early use of a tourniquet for life-threatening extremity bleeding.
•Demonstrate the appropriate application of a tourniquet to an extremity.

Old West Chapter ‘Breakfast with Santa’ @ Old West Masonic Center

Old West Chapter No. 642 is holding its annual ‘Breakfast with Santa’ at the Old West Masonic Center. A home style breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and biscuits with or without gravy, juice, milk and coffee will be served. The children’s ticket price includes a plush animal and a picture with Santa.  Members of Old West Masonic Lodge will conduct their Child I.D. program at no charge to participants. Mrs. Santa will offer homemade candies and other goodies made by her elves and helpers. The Candle Lady, handmade jewelry and other boutique items will be available.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.  Parents may email reservations to orchidanni@aol.com.

Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the sponsors fraternal purposes.

Fundraising Bingo at the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge

  • What: Bingo on Sunday and Thursdays, and the community is invited. This charity fundraiser benefits many organizations. On Thursdays, the Santa Clarita Emblem Club serves delicious food for purchase.  Sunday breakfast starting at 9 a.m., or buy hot dogs on Sunday afternoon. Win cash and prizes, and know your contributions are improving the quality of lives for others in our community. Please note: There is no bingo on Super Bowl Sunday, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day.
