In what is becoming almost a weekly event, emergency response crews were called to a traffic collision at the intersection of Decoro Drive and McBean Parkway in Valencia.

The latest crash happened Wednesday shortly before 3:45 p.m. when a car pulling out of the Ralph’s grocery store parking lot on Decoro collided with another an SUV.

A two-car traffic collision occurred at exactly the same spot where two cars collided less than a week ago on Aug. 4 when two cars collided – again, after one of the cars pulled out of the grocery store parking lot.

“This is ridiculous,” said one woman who witnessed Wednesday’s crash.

“Something has to be done here,” she said.

A check with the Los Angeles County Fire Department revealed that paramedics responding to Wednesday’s crash took no one to the hospital.

Each of the vehicles – a blue car and a “light” SUV – involved Wednesday were driven by solo driver occupants.

The two crashes in the space of five days come on the heels of a traffic collision that happened a month ago on McBean at Decoro which claimed the lives of 18-year-old Hart High School grad Collin Charles Gore and 34-year-old Joel Thomas Godfrey, both of Santa Clarita.
