On October 2, College of the Canyons hosted a Wellness Fair, at Honor Grove. It was a wonderful, informative event where over 30 local resource centers participated including COC Student Health SNAC, Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, American Heart Association, NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness, Therapy Dogs, Alzheimer’s of Greater Los Angeles, SCV Pregnancy Center, Help the Children, and Domestic Violence Center of SCV, to name a few.
There was music, a student fashion show and refreshments. Many students interacted with the participants, as well as community members showing their support.
