Lois Eisenberg should be grateful for the First Amendment to the Constitution, as it gives her the right to express her hatred and ignorance of facts.
It seems the editor of The Signal feels an obligation to publish whatever is submitted, no matter how inaccurate or offensive the content may be. We all know that President Trump is no saint. But then, which one of his predecessors could claim such a title?
But even sinners have a right to be judged accurately and without being labeled with all sorts of names.
Without going into specifics in Lois Eisenberg’s (Aug. 24) letter, I suggest we keep some civility in our local paper’s columns.
