HGTV has announced the addition of a new competition series that will be filmed in the Santa Clarita Valley, officials announced.

Four of the network’s top stars will face off in the home renovation series titled, “Rock the Block” and is slated to premiere in fall 2019.

In just one month and $150,000 each, Leanne Ford of “Restored by the Fords,” Jasmine Roth of “Hidden Potential,” Mina Starsiak of “Good Bones” and Alison Victoria of “Windy City Rehab,” will transform identical, suburban properties into “extraordinary custom dream homes.” Drew Scott of “Property Brothers” was announced as the host for the new series.

The four properties that each star will take on will be located side-by-side and built by Pardee Homes, according to a news release. In 2018, Pardee Homes opened the Skyline community in Santa Clarita, which features four home collections.

The HGTV star who adds the most value to her home will claim victory and bragging rights.

“We couldn’t resist the opportunity to put four of HGTV’s biggest stars to the test in a thrilling, action-packed competition,” said HGTV President Allison Page. “‘Rock the Block’ features business owners who are proven home renovation experts and each one already has her own hit series on the network. We can’t wait to see who emerges as the winner.”

More information about filming dates and location will be released as it becomes available, said Rombouts.
