Dedicated Del Taco customers may have noticed something different at the Stevenson Ranch locale: new ownership.
Starting next week, consumers and passers-by could see a large banner on the storefront on 24909 W. Pico Canyon Road, indicating the store has new owners, as well as “improved service and food quality,” according to new owners Travis and Laura Taylor.
The family also owns two other locations — on Bouquet Canyon Road and The Old Road. For 48 years, Travis’ father Randy Taylor, who played for the Oakland Athletics in the 1970s, owned the Bouquet Canyon location. After retiring, Travis and his family took over.
“This one became available and it needed some love,” said Travis. “We’re a family owned and operated business even though it still has the name. We give the people the food they want with the service they deserve.”
Since they took over on Feb. 20, the location has improved its cleanliness and has hiked its number of employees to a total of 18, which allows for food to be made fresh in a timely manner, said Travis.
The family plans to add a location in Canyon Country and Castaic in the future.
