Your readers may or may not be aware that thousands of our citizens are suddenly no longer able to tune in to channel 2 or 9 because CBS and AT&T cannot settle a financial dispute, but that is not why I write this letter.
I am writing today because I cannot understand why this situation has not received one word, not even a casual mention from any television or radio news source.
It seems to me that this is a situation that could have far-reaching consequences, especially when we realize that this is happening not just here but in many areas throughout the country.
If the police chase a vehicle on the 101 freeway there will be television coverage, big-time! Blocked television channels — not one word! Why?
Mr. Editor, if you have an answer I’d like to hear it. If not, perhaps your readers might shed some light.
