“Larry Rasmussen of Spirit Properties never seeks out credit or attention for community service, but he’s someone who’s always willing to help out and give back to an area he’s helped develop from the ground up, with many of the Santa Clarita Valley’s best developments.”

— Richard Budman, Signal Publisher/Owner

With decades of experience in project management and construction, developer Larry Rasmussen, owner of Spirit Properties, has time and again been responsible for some of the most significant projects in the Santa Clarita Valley, as well as Ventura County.

One of his many notable developments in the SCV includes the Centre Pointe Business Park, a 3-million-square-foot, 240-acre development near the middle of the SCV and, most recently, Castaic High School, a state-of-the-art facility that just opened its doors after decades of community effort.

This project is providing for not only the future of the district’s students, but likely will also be a resource that will support the entire Castaic community, bringing residents brand new equipment and fields, in addition to dozens of pristine classrooms for students.

Castaic High School, which opened its doors for the first time in August, will be a part of the legacy Rasmussen will leave behind in this valley for decades.
