Thanks to Bill Lyons for his “Remember When?” piece in letters to the editor (Feb. 2). Not only was it (sadly) true, but a refreshing departure from the drone of monotonous politics that is letters today.
I’d support a dedicated politics page of the paper, so the likes of SCV Voices and letters to the editor can take up topics and stories related to our community — unless there’s not enough material in that realm of this metropolis we call Santa Clarita. That would be sad. Regardless, then I can choose to look at the Purple Page or not.
