Re: Thomas Oatway letters to the editor, Jan. 18.

Please consider another idea: Instead of blaming 830,000 deaths on COVID-19, substitute COVID-19 with most who  died were over 80 years of age and had other deadly diseases and happened to have COVID-19 as well.
