Attendees gathered for the Santa Clarita Artist Association’s opening reception of “Black and White” on Saturday in Old Town Newhall. Residents enjoyed a live jazz performance by Scott Roewe and The Birdie Jazz Trio, watched magic performances by magician Luke Libera, also known as “The Martial Cardist,” and could receive a live portrait by SCAA artists.
