When election year rolls around, virtually all politicians and political candidates claim to be pro-military. However, following the elections, most of those claims prove to be nothing more than campaign rhetoric.
Congressman Steve Knight has proven that he is committed to taking action when it comes to meeting the needs of the men and women who put their lives on the line for this country. Congressman Knight has not only demonstrated this by serving in the US Armed Forces himself, but he also has fought for our veterans on the floors of Congress.
One such example is Steve Knight’s “No Hero Left Untreated” Act. This bill is precisely the type of action we need from our elected officials. I commend Steve for his efforts, and I pray that more members of Congress follow his lead.
I am proud to call Steve Knight my representative, and I am glad he is in Washington D.C. fighting for the men and women who volunteered to serve our country.
