Everyone should have a hero
someone to admire like Kobe or Nero.
Someone to look up to
to make your day and night too.
Most heroes are sports stars
celebrities or movie stars.
My heroes are the parents of children
raising them to be ladies and gentlemen.
The parents – especially the mothers
who care for these kids with a love that smothers.
They sacrifice their lives in order to make
their children’s lives ice cream and cake.
These are the heroes whom I admire
they are the role models to whom we should aspire.
