Quest Toastmasters #4643 in Valencia has partnered with the Valencia Library to hold a fun interactive workshop on January 26, 2017 titled Stop the Hate!
The topic was created out of a need to start new dialogues that bring people together with tolerance, respect and harmony ~ instead of continued division. Â This is a Hot Button for many folks and we are approaching this in a mindful manner of neutrality and taking a look at the human side of us all; taking a look at our own humanity by shining the spotlight on individuals who want be a catalyst and change our conversations, so we make a difference together.
We will have two Toastmaster’s share their personal experiences, a former journalist turned LAPD detective will share what a day in his life is like. Â We will also have a personal development team from Momentum Education share an exercise that empowers people with solutions through personal interactions. Â And, of course, we will have FREE raffle prizes at the end.
