Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley and Santa Clarita Valley, global organizations for women, has announced that together they have created a series of workshops to support their 2017 goal for “Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls”.

Members of both local clubs of Soroptimist International are hosting a series of workshops for girls ages 14 to 18 called “Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls”. The program will begin February 25, 2017 and each week thereafter up to March 28, 2017 at the Spotlight Center.

Similar programs are being conducted by Soroptimist clubs all over the Americas, and beyond, based upon a curriculum founded by the international federation to promote education and empowerment for girls. Topics include career investigation, goal setting, stress management, and more… with the main theme of learning to find and realize dreams.

Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley holds well-recognized events in the community such as “Bras for a Cause” and “Gentlemen for a Cause” (www.siscv.org) while Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley holds The Wine Affair – “Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds!” and an annual runway show (www.sigscv.org).
