An adult was arrested and four juveniles detained Thursday in connection with two burglaries reported at Placerita Junior High School last month.
Members of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station’s Career Offender Burglary/Robbery Apprehension (COBRA) Team identified the suspects after a month of investigation, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shirley Miller told The Signal Thursday afternoon.
Lap top computers and projection equipment were stolen from the school on two occasions, she said, on Feb. 7 and Feb. 20.
“They detained the suspects and recovered the majority of property taken,” Miller said.
Miller said she had no information to indicate whether or not the juveniles were students of the junior high.
