A pedestrian was injured and taken to the hospital late Wednesday afternoon following a collision near Master’s College.
The injured woman was struck by a vehicle on the 21000 block of Placerita Canyon Road, between Quigley Canyon Road and Meadview Avenue.
“She was apparently alert and talking in the ambulance,” Sgt. Scott Shoemaker of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station told The Signal Thursday morning.
Paramedics were dispatched to the incident at 5:43 p.m., Vanessa Lozano, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department told The Signal Thursday.
“This call came in as a traffic collision with pedestrian involved,” she said.
Deputies responded to the same call.
Information about the woman’s identity, age or whether or not she was a student was not disclosed.
