Overturned truck on Interstate 5 prompts delays

A truck overturned southbound on Interstate 5, prompting delays up to one hour on Saturday, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the SigAlert website.

The vehicle overturned on the right shoulder embankment.

According to Fire Dispatch Supervisor Cheryl Sims, no one was injured or transported to the hospital at the time of the incident.

According to the SigAlert website, southbound Interstate 5 at Highway 14 was backed up to Lyons Ave after the collision.

The call went out to officials 3:03 p.m.
