Five people were airlifted to hospitals after a single-vehicle collision occurred in Rowher Flats off of Sierra Highway on Sunday.
According to Officer Alex Rubio with California Highway Patrol, all five parties were in stable condition at 1:05 p.m. Injuries are unknown.
“At least one helicopter was involved (in the rescue),” Rubio said.
The crash occurred five miles into Rowher Flats from Sierra Highway, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
Two people were transported to a hospital in Northridge and three patients were transported to LA County USC Medical Center.
The call originally came to officials as an overturned vehicle at 12:15 p.m., but officials were unable to confirm how the vehicle crashed or what condition it was found in.
