Seniors in search of luxury houses can look forward to the upcoming Verano development coming to Santa Clarita, according to an announcement from Pardee Homes.

Located off south Via Princessa and Marsha McLean Parkway near Golden Valley Road, the gated master plan community will target those over 55.

“Verano’s striking homes are designed for enjoyable, low maintenance living and allow buyers to choose plan sizes and layouts suited to their particular preferences,” Lyndsay Fuller, Pardee Homes Director of Sales and Marketing Los Angeles Ventura Division said.

Homes in the Verano community will start at $500,000 for between 1,617 and 1,686 square feet.

The houses, with three different design options, range from two to four bedrooms and two to four bathrooms with a two-bay garage and an optional loft.

With the optional loft, the square footage would total between 2,063 to 2,470. These allow for guest and junior master suites, home offices or storage space.

Included in the available amenities, residents will be able to use fitness facilities, gathering areas, a kitchen, pools and a spa, entertainment areas, barbeques and event and play lawns.

Additionally, The Club at Verano, reserved for residents and guests, features private wine lockers, a social bar, bocce ball courts, a vertical community garden, meeting rooms and Wi-Fi stations.
