One person was injured and rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after two cars collided in Valencia, with one of the vehicles hitting a tree.
The traffic collision happened on Newhall Ranch Road at McBean Parkway shortly before 2:45 p.m. Monday.
“One person was transported to the hospital,” Supervisor Melanie Sims of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
The call received by fire officials was for two vehicles, she said.
“The call was also for one vehicle versus a tree,” Sims said.
Firefighters cleared the crash scene after about an hour.
