Two people were hurt and taken to the hospital Tuesday morning following a traffic collision on Soledad Canyon Road at Golden Oak Road.

The crash happened shortly after 7:35 a.m. Tuesday when two vehicles collided, knocking down a utility pole, Inspector Joey Marron of the Los Angeles County Fire Department told The Signal Tuesday.

Paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 7:37 a.m., he said.

When they arrived at the scene they found two people in need of medical treatment.

“Two people were taken to the hospital,” Marron said.

Southern California Edison was notified of the downed pole and work crews were expected to repair the damage Tuesday morning.
