A fight between two men near the Metrolink Station in Newhall ended with both men being arrested on suspicion of assault and one of them sent to the hospital.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, emergency response crews responded to reports of a fight on the 24300 block of Main Street, between Market Street and 8th Street, in Newhall.
When they got to there, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station found two men fighting .
“It was a fight and we arrested both parties,” Lt. Chuck Becerra told The Signal.
“We arrested both parties,” he said.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene at 11:34 a.m., Inspector Gustavo Medina said.
“This was a for an assault,” he said. “Someone got assaulted.”
One of the two men was injured and taken to the hospital, he said.
