One hurt, taken to hospital, in Tick Canyon crash

One person was injured and taken to the hospital early Monday night following a traffic collision near Tick Canyon.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received a distress call shortly after 6 p.m. Monday for crash with people possibly trapped on the 30000 block of Abelia Road, just north of Tick Canyon Road, Inspector Randall Wright told The Signal Tuesday morning.

Emergency response crews got to the crash shortly after 6:10 p.m.

“We did transport one patient to the hospital by ground ambulance,” he said, noting paramedics left the scene just before 6:45 p.m.

Information about the identity of the victim, including age and gender, was not disclosed.
