Two people were injured and taken to the hospital Monday morning following a two-car crash on Highway 14 at Soledad Canyon Road.

The traffic collision happened shortly after 6:40 a.m. when two sedans – described as a dark blue Chevy Impala and a blue Honda by motorists contacting the California Highway Patrol- collided.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash at 6:47 a.m., Fire Department Inspector Gustavo Medina said.

“We transported two patients to the hospital,” he said.
