Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are hoping video surveillance images of a man and a woman suspected of recently pilfering cars parked at the Placerita Nature Center are recognizable.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department issued a news release Wednesday containing images lifted from video surveillance footage in the hope someone recognizes the pair and calls to report their identities.

The suspects – a man and a woman – were captured on surveillance video at various Santa Clarita Valley retail stores, according to the LASD.

The suspects used credit cards that allegedly were stolen from several vehicles that were parked at the nature center inside Placerita Canyon State Park on the 19100 block Placerita Canyon Road in Newhall.

The burglaries reportedly occurred between Jan. 21 and Feb. 6.

The ‘be on the lookout’ alert urges anyone who can identify the suspects to call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121, extension 5146 and refer to file No. 918-01115-0635-340.
