Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying thieves suspected of stealing a wallet from a woman’s purse and then fraudulently using her credit cards.

The alleged victim reported on March 2, at approximately 3:50 p.m., a wallet was stolen out of her purse while she was dining at a restaurant on the 19100 block of Golden Valley Road.

“She told deputies that immediately after the incident, she began receiving notifications from her bank regarding fraudulent transactions,” Shirley Miller, spokeswoman for the SCV Sheriff’s Station, said Friday.

A second suspect, captured on surveillance video, used a credit card taken from the victim’s stolen wallet to allegedly purchase over $2,000 in gift cards at a local store, she said.

If you have any information about the identity of any of the individuals pictured, please contact Detective Rubalcava at 255-1121, ext. 5151.
