Hearing President Trump’s remarks about Kim Jong-un not knowing about Otto Warmbier’s treatment as a prisoner in a North Korean prison was despicable, brutal and shameful to Otto’s parents Fred and Cindy.

How insensitive can a person be?

Of all of Trump’s insults, this one takes the cake.

To Fred and Cindy Warmbier, my heartfelt feelings go out to you.

Below is Fred and Cindy’s response to Trump’s comments about what he said. I am heart broken for these two people:

“We have been respectful during this summit process. Now we must speak out,” Fred and Cindy Warmbier wrote. “Kim and his evil regime are responsible for the death of our son Otto. Kim and his evil regime are responsible for unimaginable cruelty and inhumanity. No excuses or lavish praise can change that.”

Both of you do not deserve this kind of cruelty.

May your lives be enriched with the love that you have for each other and for having such a fine son as Otto.
