As temperatures climbed to over 90 degrees for the first time in a long time Monday, firefighters responded to a dumpster fire in the Valencia Industrial Center.
The fire, the cause of which is unknown, was first reported shortly after 12:30 p.m. on the 27600 block of Avenue Hopkins near Anza Drive.
“Firefighters got there at 12:40 p.m.,” said Supervisor Melinda Choi of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
By 1 p.m., the fire was out.
