A multi-vehicle traffic collision in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, near the Highway 14 connector lanes, created delays for commuters Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 7:45 a.m.

“It came in as a traffic collision with persons trapped,” said Austin Bennett, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Paramedics arrived at the scene at 7:54 a.m., he said.

They reported finding no one trapped in a vehicle, Bennett said, adding no one reportedly hurt.
